Tell us about your responsibilities:
I find new customers and partners/distributors by conducting online research; close deals; lead new actions; provide webinars with demos of the robot to universities and other end-clients; provide conference calls with possible new distributors from Latin America; call leads and follow up with them; and create mass emailing campaigns.

What has been your favorite part of being an intern?
As an intern, my favorite part has been to gain experience in such a high-tech company and create important connections. To me, business is based on relationships I create with people around me, and I am glad I have the opportunity to work on it. In addition, being able to not just sell a product, but actually help someone who is going to benefit from the product is a great feeling.

How did your courses at Lasell relate to your internship?
There are several courses that have helped me to be more effective in my internship. BUSS 330 with Instructor Bruce McKinnon really helped me to think outside the box and write effectively in a professional way. By this, I adapted my writing to a business based template (P&G memo). In addition, BUSS 235 helped me to reinforce my personal values such as ethical behavior at all times.
