Lasell Hosts Delegation from Shandong University of Art and Design

November 21, 2013

Lasell's fashion department hosted a group of faculty members from Shandong University of Art and Design in Jinan, China earlier this week when the group shared the results of a joint project between the two schools.

The faculty from Shandong shared the results of a fashion project that began when Lasell Professor Anne Trevenen traveled to China two years ago to teach students there. The project strategized a clothing line -- emulating Ralph Lauren collections -- for potential customers in India. The project culminated in the design and creation of several garments that are currently on display at the Donahue Center for Creative and Applied Arts.
