Lasell Professor Publishes Study of Global Warming Trends in Science Journal

Lasell Environmental Studies Professor Michael Daley, along with three colleagues from other institutions, has published findings from an ongoing study of plant adaptations related to global warming scenarios. The article was published in the November/December issue of the International Journal of Plant Sciences. Daley has been involved in the study, called the Boston Area Climate Experiment (BACE), for several years. He has studied the effect of increased heat and decreased precipitation, elements of the global warming phenomena, on native field plants. The article can be viewed online.
