Middle East Correspondent to Discuss Journalism During War Time

LA Times Middle East correspondent Nabih Bulos, who has also contributed to NPR and Al Jazeera English, will address the challenges of journalism during war time at an event on campus April 22.

A Fulbright Scholar and concert violinist, Bulos will speak to the Lasell community on Tuesday April 22 at 123:30 pm in Rosen Auditorium.

Bulos will discuss his coverage of the Syrian conflict as well as his work in Jordan and Lebanon. This presentation will provide students and faculty with a unique insight of the challenges faced by field reporters. Bulos will host a Q & A session following his presentation.

Bulos has also served as Concertmaster of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra and of the Palestine National Orchestra. The talk is sponsored by the Nancy Lawson Donahue '49 Institute for Values in Public Life.

Lasell Introduces Cross-Registration Program with Regis College, Expanding on Courses Offered  Monday, March 30, 2015Lasell College will begin a cross-registration program with Regis College this Fall, enabling undergraduate students to enroll in additional courses there at no additional cost. Lasell students will be able to add selected Regis courses to their Lasell schedule starting with pre-registration this April.
