Women’s History Month Celebrated with Intergenerational Panel Discussion

In honor of Women's History Month the RoseMary B. Fuss Center for Research on Aging and Intergenerational Studies and the Nancy Lawson Donahue '49 Institute for Values and Public Life have joined forces to present an informative panel of women discussing generational influences in women's issues.

The event, titled "It's All Different, Yet It's Not Different at All" will be held on Tuesday, March 6th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm on Lasell's campus at the Yamawaki Art and Cultural Center auditorium.

An intergenerational panel including Callie Crossley, WGBH producer and host of "The Callie Crossley Show" on Boston's WGBH radio, Lasell Professor LeLaina Romero, Lasell Student Terri Moody '14, and Lasell Village Resident Peggy Ives, will speak about their experiences as young women and their civic engagement.

Crossley is a former producer for the ABC News program 20/20, was producer for the Oscar nominated documentary series, "Eyes on the Prize: America's Civil Rights Years 1954-1965" and has also won major film and television awards.

The event will be facilitated by Lasell Professor Jennifer Drew.

The Lasell community and the public are invited to this event. Light dinner refreshments will be served.
