Cristina Haverty's scholarly activities focus on the education of athletic trainers in clinical practice and the development of their skills as educators of athletic training students, and she has made numerous professional presentations in this area of research. She continues her professional development as a practicing Certified Athletic Trainer, and she has worked as Head Athletic Trainer for the United States Youth Soccer Organization Region I Olympic Development Program in Girls Soccer. Additionally, Professor Haverty serves as a Certified Athletic Trainer for the United States Soccer Federation.
Prior to coming to Lasell College, Professor Haverty was the Coordinator of Sports Medicine at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Assistant Athletic Trainer and visiting Lecturer at Bridgewater State College.
