1940s
1940 | Marjorie Borden Hayward P’80 (right) celebrated her 101st birthday on July 21. Her daughter Dawn Hayward ’80 reports that Marjorie is doing well and living in an assisted living facility on Cape Cod.
1942 | Class Secretary: Gertrude Ruch Kauffman
Gertrude “Trudy” Ruch Kauffman spent the summer at her daughter’s home on Lopez Island in Washington. She enjoyed a wonderful morning catching up with classmates.
Suzanne Krehbiel Nielsen, whose husband recently passed away, is doing well and living in Cincinnati.
Dorothy Nicholson Wilcox is in very good health at the age of 98. She lives alone in an old New Hampshire farmhouse with a lovely porch.
Beatrice Lewis Potter’s son Ed reports that she is well but suffering from dementia.
1946 | Class Secretary: Joan Hanson Blake
1949 | Due to the pandemic, Bambah Jean “B.J.” Stephenson Riedel has been on lockdown at the Peace Haven Association’s assisted living facility in St. Louis. Her two children live in Colorado, and her three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren reside in Michigan. She writes, “We are all in touch, and I keep up with the newest (6 months old) with pics/videos!”
1950s
1951 | After being widowed in 2017, Shirley “Dusty” Hannafin Adams moved from Connecticut to RiverMead, a continuing care retirement community in Peterborough, New Hampshire, to be near her daughter. She writes, “I live in my own cottage, so being able to go outdoors and garden has made the quarantine much easier. The first trip to the grocery store was exciting!”

1955 | Class Secretary: Bobbie Jennings
Priscilla “Pris” Fenton Abercrombie and her husband moved to an assisted living facility in Manteca, California. They have been married for 63 years and are awaiting their fifth great-grandchild.
Bobbie Jennings has fond memories of her Lasell presentations of “The Horth” by Perthy Griffith and a spoof on the song “Temptation” with the late Sally Munn Buswell and Nancy Horsh” Tisler Hurley. Bobbie continues to receive lengthy hand-written letters from Pamela Johns Barry ’49, and tries to keep up with her pace of correspondence.
Audrey Silver Rogers P’78 is expecting her seventh great-grandchild. She is very proud to see the growth of Lasell. When her daughter Leslie Rogers Muir ’78 graduated, Lasell was still a
junior college, yet she was able to enroll in the University of New Hampshire as a junior and receive full credit.
1956 | Class Secretary: Margaret Kraft
Helene Driscoll Kukola stays in touch with Nancy Shook Bender and Kay Rohleder Oetting by phone and mail. Helen lives in California, Nancy is on Cape Cod, and Kay resides in Florida.
1957 | Caroline Moller donated 28 hand fans to the Lasell Fashion Collection. The Fan Association of North America (FANA) awarded a grant to the collection to digitize this assortment, which will be featured in the online catalog by 2021. The Singer advertising fan pictured left, donated by Moller, was exported from Japan and given away at the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco in 1915.
1958 | Meade Simpson Fasciano visited Tequesta, Florida, in March and returned home to Cambridge, Massachusetts, just before COVID-19 restrictions were put in place. She spent the summer at her cottage on Little Sebago Lake in Maine, where she has been going for 50 years. Her primary interests these days are biking, bridge, mahjong, and golf. She also sends postcards to potential voters and has made about 100 masks for hospital workers, friends, and family. She writes, “I think of my days at Lasell often and cherish them.”
Gail Winalski Burd and her husband, Elliott, have moved to a 55+ resort community in Bonita Springs, Florida, after 20 years in Naples. They are down to one car and use a golf cart to get around. She ran into Peg Harman Eaton in Naples and saw Judy Feldt Oswald and hubby Rich in Stuart, Florida, early this year before the pandemic. She has fond memories of her class reunions.
1959 | The American Association of University Women (AAUW) Florida selected Carolyn Wood Brox as the second annual AAUW Florida named gift honoree. Carolyn has been active with AAUW since 1986 and revitalized the Punta Gorda-Port Charlotte branch by doubling its membership. She chaired the first Tech Trek committee in her branch and has served on several AAUW Florida committees, most recently the nominating committee.
1960s
1960 | Barbara Jacoby Adelstein stays busy by taking walks and keeping in close touch with family and friends. Her oldest grandchild is a first-year student at Bates College.
Leslie Ghilani Elkins retired in January 2020 as a group practice administrator (“Lasell trained me well,” she says). She saw Elizabeth “Cricket” Bigelow George for the first time in 60 years at a family gathering.
Joyce Wheeler Gardner thanks Lasell dance teacher Mrs. Jeanne Cousins for launching her career. Joyce went on to The Julliard School, taught dance in college, opened her own studio, and freelanced until her retirement at 55. She writes, “All of this time we Lasell gals have remained friends who have encouraged each other to live on! Thank you to Lasell.”
Michele Poirier Gorman’s educational counseling business has placed several students at Lasell over the years. After studying at the University of Grenoble following graduation from Lasell,
she taught French literature, did social work, worked as an editor, and was director of admissions at Miss Porter’s School. She and her husband have two children and the “most adorable” grandchildren.
Barbara McAlary Kashar reports that her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren keep her busy and very entertained. She has traveled around the world over the years. She writes, “The two years at Lasell were some of my best ever. We were able to initiate Converse House as a very lively abode!”
Mary McCartney Kuhrtz missed Elaine Shaunessy’s chocolate chip cookies at the 60th Lasell Reunion but hopes to get some if the event is rescheduled. Mary was thrilled to see a sign on a tree along a roadway in Chatham, Massachusetts, congratulating a graduating member of the Lasell Class of 2020.
Faith E. Bowker Maloney writes that the Class of 1960 recently established a Facebook page, which now boasts 21 members. One of the first to join was Sawani Thongchua Israsena, who lives in Thailand. In between their 10-year Lasell reunions, a loyal group of 12 classmates gathers for get-togethers at locations from the vineyards of the Finger Lakes in New York to the Captain’s House Inn on Cape Cod. She writes, “We are definitely girls who just want to have fun – and be together to celebrate life!” Faith taught for 35 years in Cohasset, Massachusetts, and Chevy Chase, Maryland, and is involved in a number of volunteer activities. She and her husband, George, have raised two daughters and four grandchildren. Her third great-granddaughter is due in November. Joan White Martin has retired after many years in the advertising/TV business and volunteers at Never Say Never Stables by assisting special-needs children with horseback riding. The gentle swaying of the horses calms the children and gives them a sense of responsibility, she says. She has fond memories of her two years at Lasell with Converse House roommates Faith E. Bowker Maloney and Barbara Rahner Reese, and stays in touch with many classmates.
Kathi Lehnartz Reed is preparing to publish her third book in a mystery series based in Cincinnati featuring protagonist Annie Filmore. The first two titles in the series were Banking on Trouble and Trouble for Rent.
1961 | Class Secretary: Elaine Butler Ryan
Marsha Shapiro Carpenter has been spending time reading and texting family and friends during the pandemic. She and her husband, Richard, host their family for cookouts on their back porch in Virginia.
Joan Gozzi Metzger Grindly reports that she is adopting her 10-year-old grandson due to a difficult family situation. She writes, “We now have to be parents instead of grandparents (well, occasionally we are). Anyone who has tried to make that transition knows what a challenge it is at our age.”
Elaine Ryan is grateful to be somewhat isolated in the White Mountains of New Hampshire during the pandemic. She gathers weekly with friends for socially distanced “COVID cocktails” in their driveways and has resumed playing golf. She concurs with Betty Hood’s statement: “With all travel canceled and so many restrictions, life is a bit dull — but still good!”
Pat McKinnon Williams and her husband, Rodney, both tested positive for the coronavirus in April. Their daughter Katie, a physician in Houston, monitored their vital signs. She writes, “We both were very lucky and, after a month, we were feeling much better. Neither of us knew anyone who had the virus and none of our friends came down with it. It remains a mystery how we were infected.”
1962 | Class Secretary: Joan Curtin
1963 | Whitney Ronaldson Frost reports that her beloved daughter Meg Frost Roy died on August 12. Meg was 58 years old and had married for the first time in 2014. According to Whitney, Meg lit up a room and influenced an astounding number of lives. All were blessed to have known her.
Ellen Gitelman serves as executive director of the Belmont World Film Festival in Massachusetts.
1965 | Nancy Rosen Howren has joined the artist community as a juried photographer after spending her career in marketing and sales. She and her husband, Jim, are juried into Gallery 75 in the Art League gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, Virginia. Nancy’s photography has been exhibited at galleries on Mount Desert Island in Maine and at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Pictured: Nancy’s photo “Imagine.”
Marie Coven Kaplowitz lives in Ellicott City, Maryland, with her husband of 51 years. After retiring from the American Diabetes Association, she worked part time at Lord & Taylor, transferring from the flagship store in Manhattan to Westchester County, New York, and then to the Columbia Mall in Maryland. Although she hasn’t seen her four grandchildren since January, she has virtual visits via Zoom and FaceTime. She is still in touch with Karen Kalish and Sunny Gould Macmillan and is Facebook friends with Bev Pembroke Hill and Denise Barsalou Edic P’90. She writes, “I have fond memories of my days in Gardner and Clark House. What’s the color of Clark House? Yellow! Yellow!”
Susan Miller-Havens reports that she and eight classmates who graduated from Lasell’s nursing program under the guidance of Director Constance Miller have been holding monthly Zoom calls since the beginning of the pandemic. The calls with Dee Dee Hanley McGrath, Marsha Graziano
Ballantyne, Debbie Werner Forbes, Pat Haggerty Fowler, Elsa Hernberg Akui, Joan Snipes Bigelow, Sara Jane Osborne, and Betsy Daigneau Marshall have been filled with “war stories” about their experiences as young women who went on to take the state boards in nursing while still attending college. “We began our careers during Vietnam,” Susan writes. “Now we all are in our mid 70s, and we are sympathetic to the nurses who are working on the front lines and, frankly, grateful that we are too old to be called back!” Pictured left to right, at graduation: Cheryl Douglass (deceased) Sara Jane, DeeDee, Betsy, Joan, Elsa, Elaine Sleflinger (deceased), Beth Jaffe, Marsha, Debbie, Susan, and Patricia.
1966 | Judith Dubin Factor, Susan Mark, and Joanne Frankel Smith enjoyed watching the online virtual tour of the Lasell campus, which brought back many memories. “The three of us messaged back and forth all evening, sharing Lasell memories, wise commentaries on life today, and generally catching each other up,” Judith writes. Judith and her husband are following pandemic guidelines in northern New Jersey but “miss the spontaneous interactions with people and places.”

Maureen McKinney McCauley traveled to Thailand and the eastern shore of Virginia earlier this year. She has a trip scheduled to travel by felucca down the Nile. She is looking forward to the end of the pandemic and continuing her hot springs visits; she highly recommends Yampah in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Karen Roden Nilsson’s husband passed away in August 2018. She continues to work at The Paul Center and will be glad to see the end of COVID-19 so she can return to the respite-care facility. Karen continues to be in contact with Ginny Kingsman.
Katie McDonough Ryan P’03 has adjusted to life in South Carolina after moving from Massachusetts in April 2019. She enjoys the weather, making new friends, and an endless array of community activities and events. She and her husband, Richard, spend their summers on Cape Cod visiting with their seven grandchildren, family, and friends.
1968 | Marlene Ewart Bacot (pictured right) and her husband, Peter, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 13 in San Clemente, California, instead of with friends on a scheduled trip to Europe, Greece, and North Africa. They had many virtual champagne celebrations with friends and family, plus a few actual small celebrations on the patio with ocean breezes and social distancing.
Martha Borawski owned Pioneer Valley Travel in Northampton, Massachusetts, for 52 years before selling the company in 2019. She continues to serve as president. She and her husband own a winter home in Venice, Florida, and have a blended family of four children and six grandchildren. She has journeyed around the world and hopes to resume her travels when conditions allow. She writes, “I hope that everyone is staying safe and is well. My best to everyone in Karandon House!”
Roberta Munce Nelson is enjoying living on the beach at her South Carolina condo. Because of the pandemic, this year she drove from her home in the Boston area to South Carolina for the first time. She still uses her nursing degree working part time with Alzheimer’s patients.
1969 | Cynthia Barr-Pfeffer has fond memories of her 50th Lasell Reunion last year. Highlights included visiting classmates, seeing Congressman Joseph Kennedy III deliver the Commencement address, and meeting President Michael B. Alexander. She writes, “I am veryimpressed with the amazing developments that have taken place at Lasell University.”
1970s
1970 | Debbie Donoghue Horn used her nursing training from Lasell to work in a hospital recovery room and then in an OB/GYN office. She has retired and lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, with her husband and family. She writes, “It’s hard to believe that it has been 50 years since graduation. Those were wonderful times.”
Carrie West earned her bachelor’s degree from Smith College — at the age of 69. She is now pursuing a master’s degree in sustainable agriculture and food at UMass Amherst. While studying
at Smith, she lived in a co-housing community in Western Massachusetts, but moved back to Seattle because of the pandemic. She writes, “I encourage you to go for your dreams. Never did I think I could graduate from Smith College.”
1971 | Class Secretary: Carol Goulian Stewart
1972 | Deborah Ann Wells Nunes and her husband, Joseph, have been married since 1982 and have four children and seven grandchildren. She has been a professional accompanist for 50 years and is now the organist at the Fitzwilliam Community Church in New Hampshire. They live on a 25-
acre hobby farm in nearby Royalston, Massachusetts, with a knockout view of Mount Monadnock. On the farm, the Nunes’ have laying hens, three turkeys, and 12 beehives. Deborah is in touch
with Sue Heise, Joyce Goldstein Mandel, and Joanne White Bartlett.
1973 | Cathy Jones is the executive director of the New England Land Title Association.
1974 | Class Secretary: Barbara Hirschfield Henry
1977 | Cindy Crane Johnson recently celebrated 38 years of marriage to her husband, Karl, who was her boyfriend when she attended Lasell. They have two sons, one of whom is married and the other whose wedding was postponed due to the pandemic.
Beth Redden Sciarra retired as executive director of the Preschool of West Hartford, which she purchased in 1994. In the 26 years she owned and operated the school, nearly 1,000 children from 800 families attended.
1980s
1980 | Susan Splan Dillon has owned a mobile ultrasound business for 10 years while serving as director of Baptist Health’s echocardiography lab for the last 25 years. She writes, “This has been a challenging time keeping staff healthy and safe while reducing patient exposure and maintaining quality care.” She and her husband, Greg, have been married for 37 years and live in Louisville, Kentucky. They have two grown children, Matt and Katie. Susan still stays in touch with Roseann Bygott Campbell ’79.
Kay Erlanger McNamara has worked for the last 11 years at a farmers’ market, where she manages the social media accounts and does sales. Her husband, Mike, is an assistant prosecuting attorney in Emmet County, Michigan. Their son, Andrew, worked as a mechanical engineering intern at Tesla over the summer.
Emily Thomas Wilson lives in Marlborough, Massachusetts, with her two cats, Frank and Raz. She has been working remotelyfor the TJX Companies.
1985 | Lynn McCarthy Scuderi and her husband, Bruce, sold their home in Connecticut two years ago and moved to Cookeville, Tennessee. Lynn works as a mortgage loan officer for U.S. Bank and Bruce is a realtor. She writes, “We love the weather, the sunsets, the state parks, and the culture. Our two dogs, Sedona and Aries, enjoy running and watching the cows and horses next door.” Classmates can reach Lynn at mortgagelady.ls@gmail.com.
Giela Gray moved back to the Boston area in 2018 to care for her mother, Rosalind. Since the pandemic, Giela has lived at Lasell Village with Rosalind, a resident since its opening in 2000. Writes Giela, “As a student, I never lived or spent much time on campus. I now enjoy taking walks along the campus buildings and in the neighborhood.” You can reach her at gielagray@gmail.com.

Jinette Dumont-Chapman is a vice president at Trinity Health and volunteers at Lend A Hand Haiti. She has six children: Nia, Mya, Ava, Ana, Ian, and Ivy. She met her husband while she was pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Michigan.
2002 | Melissa Damas Defay ’02 G’17 and her sister, Sherley, are planning to open We Rock the Spectrum Kid’s Gym, a recreation center in Newton, Massachusetts, designed for children with special needs but where all kids are welcome. Melissa is the mother of two boys — Nathaniel, 11, and Caden, 6, who was diagnosed with autism at 17 months old. Kellee Miller G’12 has served as executive director of the Holway Early Childhood Centers at Lasell since August 2019. She is also an adjunct lecturer at the University. She earlier served as education director and lead toddler teacher at The Barn.

Courtney Hizey is an award-winning portrait and event photographer whose work has appeared in People, Us Weekly, TWINS Magazine, and other publications.
Jennifer Toscano-Siebert’s son, Luciano George, turned a year old in September. He loves sloths, mangoes, and his big sister, Moira Lee (age 6).
Jaclyn Wong works in the pharmaceutical industry and lives in Las Vegas with her three children.

Vanessa Wojtusiak was the distinguished speaker for the School of Communication and the Arts (SoCA) Day at Lasell. As the vice president of marketing for iHeartMedia Connecticut, she spoke about evolving traditional media into the digital age.

2009 | Ben Segal and his wife, Gina, welcomed Dylan James Segal to their family in August.
Ryan Walsh was named athletic director and director of athletic facilities at St. Bernard’s High School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.

Brittanie Allen is a trial attorney focusing on immigration and criminal defense for Demissie & Church. She graduated from New England Law in 2016.
Ashley Jannino is assistant producer of Ashlee and the New Jam’n Morning Show on Jam’n 94.5-FM and producer for Food for Thought and Tough as Nails, both on WBZ 1030-AM. Both radio stations are owned by iHeartMedia.
Angel Jimenez owns and serves as strength and conditioning coach at Boston Underground Strength Training in his hometown of Waltham, Massachusetts. The business has grown to more than 130 members since opening in 2014.
2012 | Class Secretary: Kasey Looney Silva
Conor Cavanaugh, a former pitcher and outfielder for the Lasell baseball team, was promoted to associate coach on the staff of Coach Billy Uberti ’14.
2013 | Class Secretary: Carrie Kenniston Goodwin
Samantha Boisclair lives in Waltham, Massachusetts, and works in the human resources department at a retirement community in nearby Needham. Her daughter turned a year old in October.
Brandon Chase is a sports correspondent for The Boston Globe and a digital content producer for Boston.com. His feature about marathoner Molly Seidel qualifying for her first Olympic Games was the lead story of the Globe’s sports section.
Will Dempsey lives in Burlington, Vermont, and works as the project director for the Vermont Secretary of State’s Office in the Vermont State Archives and Records Administration. Will spends his free time during the pandemic paddleboarding, hiking, and exploring Vermont.
Carrie Kenniston Goodwin lives in Western Massachusetts with her husband, dog, cat, and daughter, who is going to be a big sister in February 2021.
Patrick Slight moved back to the East Coast and lives in Medfield, Massachusetts. He is the national account manager for BIC and is responsible for the company’s stationery and shaver business at Amazon.
Bobby Stachura was scheduled to marry Nicole Genzardi on October 16 in Newport, Rhode Island. Seth Parmeter was the best man and William Heim was a groomsman.
2014 | Class Secretary: Flannagh Fitzsimmons
Mike Luce is a digital designer at The Channel Company, where he works with customers such as Dell, Intel, HP Enterprise, Microsoft, and IBM on UX/UI, web/print design, branding, and promotional solutions. He participatedin an alumni panel, Life After Lasell, at the School of Communication and the Arts (SoCA) Day.
2015 | Class Secretary: Shannon Pasco
Domenic Ciano has worked at Comcast for five years, both on the residential and commercial sides of the business. He currently does B2B sales for Comcast Business. In his spare time, he hangs with Tyler Hess, Matt Sammarco, Greg Sherman ’16, Justin Riley, Dustin Brown, and Evan Mozinga.
Torey Reichenbach Goff and her husband, Elliott, welcomed son Fletcher “Fletch” Eugene on July 27. Torey is a branch manager at a local community bank and owns her own event planning company, Torey Liz Events, in Central Pennsylvania.
Ryan MacLeod married Chelsea Rose Sveum on July 10 in Foresthill, California.
Jonathan Peirce leads unified communications at Markforged, a local startup. In his free time, he enjoys playing D&D and various board games with his partner, Shannon, or cuddling with his dog, Beanie.
2016 | Class Secretary: Jordan Dalpe
Darius Corcoran, a mobile device support specialist for the Millis Public Schools, earned his JAMF mobile device management certification to help the district’s staff and students adapt to remote learning with Apple computers and iPads. He also produced training videos for teachers and introduced the various applications that were available to them. Additionally, Darius helped churches record their services to distribute when parishioners could not attend.
Zachary Gavin graduated from the Northeastern University School of Law and passed the bar exam in Massachusetts.
Gillian Hery and her fiance, Ryan, welcomed a baby girl, Shaylyn Annora Sullivan, into the world on April 8.
Rose Leger, a graduate student in textile science at the University of Rhode Island, won the Concept 2 Consumer Student Merchandising Competition organized by the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists. Rose’s business, marketing, and design plan for the womenswear line “Olivine” finished first in a field of 15 entries from 37 students at eight colleges and universities.
Daniel Lopera was named DraftKings’ Customer Service Professional of the Year. He serves as a customer experience team lead at the Boston-based company, where he has worked since graduation. Daniel was recognized for his ability to see the person in the interaction rather than the transaction. In his role, he leads a team of customer service professionals and is responsible for communications with VIP players.
Kayla McMillen married Luis Fustamante on January 7, and has changed her name to Kayla Fustamante. Her daughter, Sawyer, turned 4 on August 8. Kayla is working on her master’s degree in special education/moderate disabilities at Lasell.
Sarah Murphy is traffic manager at Market Mentors, where she just celebrated her four-year anniversary. She purchased her own condo in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Suzanne Nguyen left the corporate hotel business and for the last three years has been working in real estate in Boston. She writes, “2020 has been a crazy year, but a great learning experience.”
Gary Trottier, a former pitcher at Lasell, was named pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for the Lasers baseball team under Coach Billy Uberti ’14.

Abigail Adams and Ayumi Ranucci participated in an alumni panel, Life After Lasell, at the School of Communication and the Arts (SoCA) Day. Abigail has been a content producer at NESN since March 2019. Ayumi was a member of the crew of Disney Channel’s Bug Juice and has since worked with Paramount Pictures, Apple TV, and Netflix.
Megan Cullen, a standout soccer player at Lasell, was named to the All-Decade girls soccer team as selected by The Daily News of Newburyport, Massachusetts. She led Amesbury High in scoring three times and went on to score 67 goals in 72 career games as a Laser.
Bridget Delaney has served as the assistant sports information director at the United States Coast Guard Academy since 2018.
Grace Hogan Miller, executive meetings manager at MGM Resorts’ 2,898-room Park MGM in Las Vegas and the resort’s NoMad luxury boutique hotel, returned to Lasell to participate in a School of Business Day panel discussion, “Resort & Casino Industry: Perspectives from Lead Performers.” She was joined by her husband, Adam, senior director of hotel and villa operations at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. Nicholas Woodward received his doctorate in physical therapy from Duke University’s School of Medicine.

Lauren Ahern and Tyler Hetu participated in an alumni panel, Life After Lasell, at the School of Communication and the Arts (SoCA) Day. Lauren is a communications and relationship management associate at ThinkLite USA. Tyler is sports editor for the Creston News Advertiser in Iowa.
Jenna Bencivenga enjoys her new job as a sales account executive at VDA, where she works with Timesha Livingston ’12. Jenna and Lauren Ahern traveled to London earlier this year to celebrate Rebecca Llanes’ engagement. They are still best friends despite the distance. Andrea Boyer and Timothy Blair were engaged on July 25.
Alex Hoffman is the events and marketing coordinator for the New England Motorcycle Group, which includes five Harley-Davidson dealerships in New England. She recently moved to a new apartment in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Annie MacIntyre G’18 started her own Massachusetts-based business, Dot+Ellie Companion Services, inspired by her grandma and great aunt. Through D+E, Annie offers genuine, compassionate support and friendship to aging adults so they may continue to live independent, purposeful days while remaining safe and happy in the comfort of their home.
James Rossano joined the pandemic puppy bandwagon and adopted Tucker, a miniature dachshund, in April.

Thomas Baker, Chris Lenzi, and Megan Palumbo participated in an alumni panel, Life After Lasell, at the School of Communication and the Arts (SoCA) Day. Thomas is a freelance video editor and is pursuing writing, audio recording, and voice acting opportunities; Chris is a freelance designer; and Megan is a community engagement project coordinator at Citizens Bank.
Kate Coulter has moved to Los Angeles and is studying for her MBA at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.
Jessimina Jean is a trust administrator at Milne Law, where she works directly with trust beneficiaries and their families.
2020s
2020 | Class Secretary: Katie Jones
Jenee Aguilar G’20 is teaching first grade at Pine Hill Elementary School in Sherborn, Massachusetts, where she has worked for five years. Over the summer, she took several online professional development courses. Although she, her husband, and their two children missed out on some planned vacations due to the pandemic, they have enjoyed playing games and watching movies together.
Christa Augustus was promoted from bridal stylist to operations supervisor at her hometown David’s Bridal.
Sara Bayles is pursuing her master’s degree in human resources at Lasell. She is very excited to become a double Laser.
Amelia Bickford works as a support associate at Tory Burch. A fashion media and marketing major, she is very grateful to have found a job in the fashion industry during this time.
Kelly Cappitella (pictured left) is working about 60 hours a week in two jobs — as a physical therapist’s aide and as a shift manager at Starbucks. She moved to Brighton, Massachusetts, in September and is very excited to see where life takes her. She plans to attend school for physical therapy.
Bailee Duquette created her own business, Bright Bug Designs, and is selling polymer clay earrings (pictured right). The production process involves making decorative slabs of clay and then applying metal hardware. In the meantime, Bailee is also applying to graduate programs for physical therapy.
Bryanna Fusaro moved back to Pawcatuck, Connecticut, and is busy planning her wedding for December 2020 and buying her first home. She also plans to earn her MBA at the University of New Haven.
Allison Garriepy is pursuing her MBA at Lasell and working as an administrative assistant for a manufacturing company that specializes in machined components for the aerospace, defense, oil, gas, and industrial sectors.
Halie Haskins (left) was engaged to her high school sweetheart, Bill Chavanelle, just a few days after she graduated from Lasell in December 2019.
Katie Jones moved in with her sister Mary and Jessica Spillane and started a new job as a programming graduate assistant for residential life at Boston College. She is also pursuing her master’s in higher education administration at BC.
Kate Kennedy and Jenna Noel relocated to Denver at the end of September.
Olivia Knotts is pursuing her master’s degree in special education and literacy at the University of Saint Joseph. She works with students in small groups and provides one-on-one literacy intervention during the day and attends class at night.
Trevor Lachance is taking graduate-level courses at Lasell’s School of Business as he pursues a master’s degree in marketing.
Alana Larkin is engaged and plans to get married in September 2021.
Jordan McComb is a sports performance coach at Athletes Acceleration, where she trains middle school, high school, and collegiate athletes. She is also studying for a master’s degree in sport management at Lasell.
Lauren Milosh is working as a college public safety officer and continues to volunteer at Second Chance Animal Services.
Lian Painchaud is a hostess and works the front counter at Teresa’s Italian Eatery in Middleton, Massachusetts.
Jared Sgroi accepted a full-time position as an executive team lead for guest experience at Target.
Jessica Spillane has moved back to Massachusetts after spending the summer with her family in her hometown of Waterbury, Connecticut, and is working as a fashion assistant at the Jill Ganci Company.
Avery Stankus lives with her twin sister, Rachel, and Alexa Madeiros in Allston, Massachusetts. Avery is an intern for a startup, Forage Paper Co., where she assists with social media and writes for the company blog.
Mike Tacinelli is taking courses at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Connecticut and plans to earn his CPA.
