Pre-Kindergarten

We believe in fostering curiosity and a love of learning in the Pre-Kindergarten class at Holway Early Childhood Centers. Our curriculum incorporates a variety of science topics, such as weather patterns, space exploration, plant life cycles, dinosaurs, and the human body. Through hands-on activities and exploration, children will develop critical thinking and observation skills. Additionally, social studies lessons will introduce geography, community helpers, and our place in the world.

Literacy and Math Foundations

Our Pre-Kindergarten program lays a strong foundation for academic success. Children will develop essential literacy skills, including writing uppercase and lowercase letters, identifying letter sounds, and comprehending stories through thoughtful questioning. Math concepts are introduced through counting, number recognition, shape identification, and pattern exploration. These building blocks will prepare your child for future learning.

Building Social and Emotional Skills

Our program emphasizes social and emotional development. Children will learn to recognize and express their emotions, control impulses, and build empathy. We foster cooperation and problem-solving through social interactions and group activities. These skills are essential for success in school and in life.
