Pre-Law
Pre-law is an advising program open to all students at the College who are considering application to law school. A Pre-Law advisor will advise students about curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities that will best prepare them for a career path in the legal profession. Students will have opportunities to learn about the profession, law schools, and the admission requirements and expectations for law school, including preparation for the LSAT examination.
No matter what their majors are, Pre-Law students are advised to enroll in the following sequence of Legal Studies courses:
LS101: Foundations of American Legal System
LS202: Legal Research and Analysis
LS203: Justice, Law & the Constitution
LS301: Legal Writing & Reasoning
LS325: Evidence
