Biography:
Yvette Perullo is a designer, educator, and author. She believes that 'good design' values people, the environment, and improves lives. In the classroom and in her practice, Yvette champions the interconnectedness of social and environmental responsibility—leveraging design as a force for positive change.
Yvette earned an MFA in Visual Communications Design from Purdue University and a master’s degree in Graphic Design from the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University. Her thesis work led to her co-founding Re-nourish, an independent nonprofit organization that provides resources and tools to help advocate awareness and action for sustainable design. Yvette’s book, "Design to Renourish: Sustainable Graphic Design in Practice," addresses the pressing challenges of working with clients to create responsible solutions to climate change.
With extensive experience in industry, Yvette has led design and strategy at various organizations and design studios. She has worked with many clients in the political, governmental, nonprofit and energy industries.
