Biography:

Beth Saucier Goodspeed worked as a Forensic Scientist IV – QA, Validation and Training Supervisor in the Criminalistics and Crime Scene Response units of the Massachusetts State Police Crime Laboratory for 23 years before working at Lasell University. She worked one year for the State of Vermont, Department of Health in the Forensic Toxicology unit prior to that. She has also worked in an Analytical Chemistry lab for Arch Chemicals for one year as well as 3 months in an environmental chemistry lab called RI Analytical. She was an adjunct professor for Bay Path University teaching graduate level forensic science courses for approximately 4 years and for Roger Williams University teaching undergraduate level forensic science courses for approximately 2 years.

She is certified in Biological Evidence Screening through the American Board of Criminalistics, ABC-BIO.

She is a member, Past President and Meritorious Service Award Winner of the Northeastern Association of Forensic Scientists (NEAFS); member of the Criminalistics Section of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS); provisional member of the International Association for Bloodstain Pattern Analysts (IABPA); and a member of the American Criminal Justice Association (ACJA), Lambda Alpha Epsilon Chapter.
