Biography:
Dr. Belmore serves as an associate professor of athletic training and the athletic training program director. He comes to Lasell University with more than 15 years of athletic training experience. During his career, Professor Belmore has worked with patients in a number of practice settings including collegiate athletics, professional sports, and secondary schools. Prior to joining Lasell, Professor Belmore was an associate teaching professor and clinical education coordinator at the University of Missouri.
What do you like most about teaching at Lasell?
I enjoy the community atmosphere created by both students and faculty. The learning environment at Lasell encourages active and creative student engagement through connected learning. Teaching with a focus on the application to real world situations allows for a richer student experience.
What is one thing that you hope students take away from your class?
I hope students become better critical thinkers, able to take on challenges and solve problems they will face as athletic trainers.
What are your hobbies/interests outside of teaching?
I enjoy skiing in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and spending time at the beach with family.
