Congratulations, Graduates!

The Lasell University community is excited to gather this May to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of our students at both the Graduate and Undergraduate levels. This year we will hold two separate Commencement ceremonies on Lasell’s Taylor Field.

Ceremony Information

  • Parking

  • Campus Shuttle
    The Lasell shuttle will provide transportation between the Riverside Office Park and campus from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. 

  • Inclement Weather
    Ceremonies will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather which makes it unsafe to hold proceedings on Taylor Field, an indoor ceremony will take place with a limited number of guests. Students are guaranteed 3 guest registrations if the event is held indoors.

  • Accessibility Accommodations
    Graduates or guests who need accommodations should contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements by emailing commencement@lasell.edu.

  • COVID Policies
    • PCR tests will be available at the Testing Center on the top floor on the Edwards Student Center from 9:00 am until noon on Thursday, May 12. No PCR testing will be available after that day and time.
    • The Office of Health Services will be open on Friday, May 13 from 9:00 am until noon and from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Anyone believing they are experiencing COVID symptoms is strongly encouraged to check in with Health Services to see if a rapid COVID test is in order.
    • Any graduating students, or their guests, who are positive for COVID, are asked to remain off campus and isolate in the interests of the health and safety of the wider community.
    • Commencement and related events will draw crowds of people from many places, some experiencing high positive rates than others. Lasell fully supports all who choose to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Pets and Animals
    Service animals--as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)--are allowed at commencement ceremonies for graduates and guests. All other animals are prohibited from commencement ceremonies.
