Lasell University Announces 2025 Commencement Speakers

Lasell University is proud to announce that two distinguished business and civic leaders will serve as commencement speakers for the Class of 2025. Entrepreneur, fashion icon, and Lasell alumna Nancy Castle Donahue ’78 will address undergraduate students, while Callie Crossley, an award-winning journalist and documentarian, will speak at the graduate commencement ceremony.
Lasell’s graduate commencement will take place on May 9, followed by the undergraduate commencement on May 10. Both ceremonies will be held on Taylor Field located on Lasell’s Auburndale campus.
Nancy Castle Donahue has led a dynamic career across multiple industries, including fashion, food, and fitness. A successful entrepreneur, she is widely recognized for her creativity, business acumen, and ability to anticipate emerging trends. As a top model, Donahue graced the covers of major fashion magazines and walked the runway for some of the world’s most renowned designers.
Callie Crossley is a distinguished journalist and media professional whose work has reached both national and regional audiences. A former ABC network producer, she has appeared as a commentator on CNN, PBS, Public Radio International, and GBH Radio and Television. Crossley was a producer for the groundbreaking, Oscar®-nominated documentary series Eyes on the Prize: America’s Civil Rights Years, a project that also earned her the Alfred I. DuPont-Columbia Award and a National Emmy. Crossley was also a Nieman Fellow.
