Brendan McCaffery Testimonial

Sergeant Brendan McCaffrey is a Marine Corps veteran. He served from 2009-2015 in the Marine Corps as a Field Radio Operator and was with the 5th Battalion 11th Marines which is the artillery unit. 

He earned his BS and Master's in Sports Management at Lasell. Brendan worked as the Program Manager for Education and Training at the Home Base Veteran and Family Care Foundation in Boston. The Home Base Program is a mental health clinic for veterans, their service members, and their families. They offer mental health services, and recreational activities, all free of charge to the veteran.

“I was looking to get into the non-profit sector and work closely with vets.” 

In addition to the small community feel, Brendan really liked how Lasell is a GI Bill school. As a GI Bill school, the majority of his tuition is covered by his serving.
