The Art and Craft of Millinery Design: Marie Galvin Marie Galvin is an award winning Irish hat designer, based in Boston. Galvin owns and operates GALVIN-ized Headwear and specializes in designing women's millinery including hats, fascinators and all special occasion headwear. Galvin offers some of the most diverse, unique collections of handcrafted hats in Boston. GALVIN-ized Headwear was voted Best Hat Shop in Boston by Boston Magazine in 2010. Galvin’s work also includes numerous awards and is featured in high profile international and domestic publications with clients such as Clair Dane, Alicia Keys and Cher.

Neutral colored straw bonnet embellished with purple and white silk flowers, and attached fabric ties made from silk. Lined with felt and silk for a more comfortable fit.
