Transfer Credits and Agreements
Whether you've completed one college course or a few years' worth of courses, Lasell makes it easy to transfer your credits.
Lasell University will accept up to 90 college transfer credits, conditional upon course equivalency. Students must still fulfill program requirements for their major.
Transfer applicants must submit:
- Official transcripts of all prior college/university-level work with corresponding course descriptions or course catalogs.
- International transfer applicants should translate into English their official transcripts of all prior college/university level work and/or their academic credentials, and have transcripts evaluated by a credential evaluation service for possible college credit.
Transfer credit is awarded for completed college level courses, with grades of C (2.0) or better, from an accredited institution. Previous courses must be comparable in content to those offered at Lasell.
Accepted transfer students will receive a credit evaluation of any submitted course work after the offer of admission.
Students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree must complete their final semester at Lasell University.
For students who have completed coursework at other colleges/universities, this feature allows students to search for college courses currently in our transfer credit database. Students can search by school name and course number to see a list of Lasell course equivalents.
Please note that the information provided here is what is currently in our database. If a course is listed as “not found” it may still transfer to Lasell pending approval. In this case, a course description provided to Lasell will assist in determining whether or not your course will transfer.
