Admission Criteria
Lasell University takes a holistic approach to evaluating applicants for undergraduate admission, considering factors that include, but are not limited to:
- Scholastic record
- Faculty/counselors recommendations
- Extracurricular involvement or work experience
- College essay
Personal Interview (optional)
While a personal interview with an Undergraduate Admission Counselor is not required, it is highly recommended. An interview provides the Admission team the opportunity to get to know you beyond your application. It also offers you a more in-depth understanding of the Admission process. Interviews are scheduled for 30 minutes and can be combined with a campus visit; register here for either or both.
Academic Profile
In high school, you should have completed:
- 4 Units of English
- 3 Units of Mathematics, including Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry (4 recommended)
- 2 Units of Laboratory Science (3 recommended)
- 2 Units of Social Science (3 recommended)
- 2 Units of Foreign Language recommended
Lasell will also consider applicants who have successfully fulfilled the requirements for a secondary school diploma.
Admission to all academic programs at Lasell University is competitive. With more applications than admission slots, the University may restrict enrollment into certain academic programs.
