What clubs, athletics, organizations have you been involved in at Lasell?
I have been on the women's volleyball team each year I have been at Lasell. I am also the team manager for the men’s baseball team. I participate in the game day staff around campus, as well as recently becoming a part of the Blue Key Society for Admissions in Hamel House.

What was the "thing" that made you know that Lasell was right for you?
The specific “thing” that made me realize Lasell was my college was the welcoming employees and staff that I met on my first visit at Lasell. Every interaction was positive. Everyone I met was supportive and welcoming, which made Newton feel like Texas, my home! That familiar “family” feeling I had felt was all I needed!

What is one experience you’ve had within the classroom that you were instantly able to apply to your life/career/internships?
One experience I have had in the classroom was presenting preparatory lesson plans to our classmates. This experience made me less nervous presenting a lesson in front of my own class of students because I had already done it once before to my peers.

How has your academic program positively influencing your career/life?
The Education program has made me incredibly confident to pursue a career in teaching. Having people around me encouraging my passions relentlessly has been an amazing support system.
