Suit; Two-piece, wool woven in a black and white houndstooth "plaid". Knee-length cape (A) is reversible as it is lined with black waterproof poplin. Wide stand-up collar. Cape has deep side slits which start above the elbow and are open all the way to the hemline. A black metal zipper (reversible with two tabs) closes the cape at center front. Zipper tabs each have a silvertone metal ball, approximately 1/2 inch in diameter attached as decoration. Short skirt (B) has a 4-inch-wide yoke with an elasticized waistband faced with wide black seam binding. Skirt is very full, pleated, and sewn to the yoke.
