The Office of International Services offers a variety of events and programs throughout the academic year that students are encouraged to attend. Students may also propose ideas for events they would like to host on campus by emailing iss@lasell.edu. 

Lasell's Intercultural Center and Commuter Cottage

The Intercultural Center and Commuter Cottage (IC3)  is located at 70 Maple Ave. It is a popular social gathering spots on campus, a vibrant hub for diverse students from every background to meet up,and have fun. All who bring an attitude of inclusivity and respect are welcome here and are encouraged to use the Intercultural Center to connect with one another, plan or participate in intercultural events, and advance social justice issues.

Lasell recognizes that diversity in student body, faculty, and staff is vital to a quality education. Thus, the Intercultural Center promotes cross-cultural understanding and inclusivity through respectful social engagement and multicultural programming in a diverse and welcoming environment.  Through learning about one another and experiencing different cultures, traditions, perspectives and views, the Intercultural Center is just one way Lasell prepares its students interact and succeed in an increasingly diverse and global environment.

International Education Week

This fall Lasell University will celebrate International Education Week (IEW) on November 18 - 22, 2024. International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education and is celebrated in more than 100 countries worldwide. The week includes globally-themed events that highlight international cultures and study abroad opportunities at Lasell University. All departments, student organizations, and groups are invited to take part. 

Cultural Activities

The Office of International Services hosts many events on campus for international students.  We run "An Hour With" program where international students share their culture with the campus.  There are also programs such as Lunar New Year, International Cuisine Night, Diwali, Holi, Eid al-Fitr and fun events during spring's Culture Fest Week to celebrate our international diversity at Lasell.  We encourage international students to join the International Student Organization to get involved in programs on-campus.
