Living Communities

studentsdining

Students may request to live in one of our themed housing communities. Communities often hold special events focused on their community's interests.

    Equity & Intersectionality House

This energetic community is for students who wish to build a safe, self-affirming, and energetic community that focuses on social justice, diversity, and inclusion. This community provides a unique housing experience for students to inspire and support each other, and actively work to educate themselves and the larger Lasell community. Students commit to attending community meetings and engage in program planning.

Previous Equity House programs have included discussions, films, guest speakers, and activities to promote social justice.

      Wellness House

This housing is for students who want to live in a substance-free community. Resident agree not to use substances including alcohol, cigarettes or other illicit drugs, both within and outside of the building in which they reside. Depending on the interests of the residents, programming may include: community dinners, presentations on the mind-body connection, yoga and exercise, stress reduction, and spirituality.

        Quiet Study House

Students choosing to live in quiet/study housing agree to maintain a quiet environment conducive to studying.

          Honors Program Community

Students in the Honors program can choose to live in a community with other Honors Program students.  Students participate in special social and academic programming such as workshops, discussions, and on and off-campus events.

            Women’s Only

Housing for women identifying students who have a personal preference for this environment.
