Laser Link Orientation

Our Laser Link Orientation program in June introduces you to Lasell and all the resources available to help you be successful. Students attending this program will meet many of their classmates, members of the faculty and staff, learn about meal plans, housing options, and more for the fall. During Laser Link Orientation is Parent and Family Orientation*.

*Parent and Family Orientation takes place during Lasell Laser Link Orientation. A variety of information sessions and other events are planned for your family's visit. If families chose to participate, registration for Parent and Family Orientation is processed concurrently with your student's registration for Laser Link Orientation.

Laser Link Orientation 2.0

This is a one-day program for Transfer and first-year students in August. Much like the June program, Laser Link Orientation 2.0 is designed to introduce students to Lasell and all the resources available to help you be successful. Students attending this program will get to meet classmates, members of the faculty and staff, learn about meal plans, housing options, and more for the fall in a smaller-scale experience than that of June's sessions.

Laser Transfer Transitions

This orientation takes place in August and is for all students transferring to Lasell University. You'll have the opportunity to meet classmates and members of the faculty and staff during the program. In addition, you'll choose your courses for the fall and learn about dining options, housing options, and information technology. Registration for Laser Transfer Transitions opens in July on the Welcome, New Students site.

Lasell Laser Welcome Weekend

This three-day orientation for new students takes place prior to the start of classes in September. During Lasell Laser Welcome Weekend, the focus is helping you adjust to your new community — learn how to navigate campus, learn where your classes will be held, meet with faculty and staff members, and enjoy time with other new students. You'll explore and learn more about campus departments; meet in small groups; come together to discuss diversity and inclusion; and enjoy social activities during each day and evening. The program will accommodate all new residential and commuter students. Parts of the program are required, and parts are recommended. Registration for Lasell Laser Welcome Weekend opens in mid-August on the Welcome Website.

Laser Winter Orientation

This one-day orientation takes place in January and is focused on helping you adjust to Lasell University by having you meet faculty, staff, and other students. You'll also have assistance in the course registration process. Registration for Laser Winter Orientation opens in January on the Welcome, New Students site.
